  • PERSPECTIVE SHIFT : What actually happens during a session?
    After introducing ourselves, grabbing a drink and settling down, the session will involve: You sharing - it could be something which you feel stuck on, or cant get perspective about. Or perhaps you have a question you've been pondering and cant get clarity on. Or there is a perspective you'd like to gain/ have? I listen and help :) Tailored to each person, each time, but likely to be a medley of active listening, asking specific (transformative) questions, empathy, encouragement, comfort. I may offer tips & thoughts - and ways to shift to a more helpful empowering perspective and feel a little more free and open to possibilities. It is a collaborative partnership between us for our time together.
  • WONDER CONCIERGE: What actually happens during a session?
    After saying hi, grabbing a drink and settling down, the session will involve: We spend a bit of time finding out about you & life, and how you are currently feeling. Then we focus on the theme you have chosen. Either: The Wonder of You, The Wonder of Life, or the 'What's Your Wonder' session I ask questions to find out what might being blocking you to feeling connected to that feeling of inspiration in that area. Then we will use a variety of ways to help you shift perspective and open to seeing the beauty & wonder in that area. And work out how to make this spark of joy more of a priority in your life going forward. It is very unique to each person, each time. It is a collaboration between us for our time together. After the session, I email you a wonder affirmation so you have a little memento to keep for inspiration, and a micro-quest so you have a quick shift to try when you want it.
  • How do I book?
    Please use the booking form through the 'Book Now' Button, and choose a time slot. You will then be guided to payment. If its a wonder concierge session (either online & coffee shop I will send an email to find out which area you'd like to focus on. If coffee shop, you also choose the café. Or feel free to email me if any queries.
  • Why do you hold the session in a coffee shop?
    I hold the session in a coffee shop, as its a different vibe to private therapy. It is my aim for our time together to be enjoyable, a creative shared experience, which inspires as much as it is heart-led.
  • How did you choose the cafes we meet at?
    I chose local independent cafes which I think have a nice atmosphere - enough background noise that we can have our own private chat and not worry about being overheard but quiet enough we can relax and be ourselves. I've also chosen 2 cafes in different areas in Edinburgh so you can pick the one which suits you best.
  • What is your background & qualifications?
    A summary if helpful: Wellbeing: I have studied a range of wellbeing and therapies for over 10 years including a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, NLP and Coaching, Holistic Massage, the Emotion Code & Reiki. Events, experiences & products based round wonder & perspective: I have 5 + years experiences of creating and hosting meetups and groups to help people see more magic and wonder in themselves & the world around them - including the Feel More Wonder 4 week course, Philosophy in the Pub, Wonder Salons, a Women's Circle and workshops such as 'Wellbeing through Wonder' and 'The Magic of You'. I also create original guided meditations and have a small Etsy shop with the book 'Your are Stardust', awarded an Editor's Pick. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/helloworldpressUK Other experience includes a 4 years experience in Account & Project Management at a Creative Agency, 5 years as an Editorial Manager in Publishing and a TEFL qualification. I feel all my different experiences and continuous quest to find perspective to help in my own life have come together in a sort of buffet of understanding of how it can help and inspire shifts for others in a tangible way :)
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you give 24 hrs notice, I can fully refund your payment or we can reschedule for another time. Less than 24 hrs, unless exceptional circumstances, no refund will be given.
  • Do I need to let you know in advance what I'd like to talk about?
    With the wonder concierge sessions, I will send you a quick email in advance & find out which of these areas you are drawn to focus on: - the wonder of you - the wonder of life - finding your wonder If you're not sure if what you want help with is right for this type of session, in that case, please email me to check and I can let you know. Some questions topics or issues will be too complex or deep for this quicker, social setting type of session and you may be better suited to traditional therapies or private counselling.
  • Do you reserve a table for us?
    Most of the cafes do not have reservable tables and due to offering more reactive availability, it might not be an option to book in time for the session anyway. I have carefully chosen cafes which have enough tables for that hopefully not to be an issue and in the unlikely event a café is full, we will head somewhere near by and the extra time will be added to your session.
  • How long is a session?
    A session is 45 minutes. This allows 5 minutes to introduce ourselves, get a coffee and get comfy, and 5 mins at the end to wrap up and share. This leaves 30 minutes-ish for the main chat. This time frame is chosen to allow us to get to the heart of what you would like help with quickly. By asking leading questions, and working together, we will find a way to help shift your perspective. Whilst also ensuring the space is held for you and you feel heard, supported and encouraged with whatever energy and care you need most at that moment.
